Abstract
Sleep-related movement disorders are a spectrum of conditions that involve simple, usually stereotyped movements that can cause disruption of nocturnal sleep and may thus cause daytime sleepiness and fatigue. These disorders involve movements that differ from those occurring during wakefulness and may predominate or solely occur during sleep.
