Abstract

To the Non-Editor: “Non-hypoglycemia Is an Epidemic Condition” and “A Non-editorial on Non-hypoglycemia” (N Engl J Med 291:905–906 and 907–908, 1974) are good reminders to the medical profession about the role of the physician in dealing with the ill. I am sure that the principles articulated in those discussions will be welcomed by the medical community, and I hope the message will be projected to many other diseases. As stated by the authors, this “yes-disease” of “non-hypoglycemia” had previously been suspected in the light of recent publications showing that we do not know what “chemical hypoglycemia” is (or should we. . .
