Abstract

Emerging evidence has demonstrated that microRNAs (miRNAs or miRs) play functional roles in the regulation of numerous processes in health and disease. Herein we are presenting a systematic review of the functional contribution of miRNAs to the pathophysiology of diabetes mellitus and its complications.
