Abstract

In clinical practice, ophthalmologists encounter fungal eye infections caused by various fungal species. These infections can lead to visual disability and pose challenges in diagnosis and treatment. This article will provide an overview of fungal ophthalmological infections and discuss the epidemiology, signs and symptoms, diagnostic workup, and treatment of fungal keratitis and endophthalmitis.
