Abstract

Ionic, electronic and mixed (ionic-electronic) conductivities of blends of polyoxyethylene(PEO)/poly(2-vinyl pyridine)(P2VP) with different weight ratios after doping with LiClO1, TCNQ or LiClO, plus TCNQ were studied. When the weight ratios of PEO/ P2VP are 6/4, 5/5 and 4/6, the mixed (ionic-electronic) conductivity of the blends is higher than the total of ionic and electronic conductivity of PEO/P2VP and shows a synergistic effect. LiClO4 in the blend can act as compatibilizer for PEO/P2VP blend.
