note = "Funding Information: Modelled after these LHNs, the CQC was launched in 2019. It is currently funded by the AASLD as a contract to Loma Linda University. At inception, 10 health systems (“sites”) from across the United States joined the CQC. Early efforts focused on LHN design, site recruitment, building a centralized Web-based patient registry, and supporting sites with foundational QI knowledge. Sites were supported to develop a QI infrastructure (eg, improvement teams) and plan for QI (eg, use data to identify care quality gaps, use improvement tools to understand quality gaps). Key components of the CQC are discussed next. ",
