Abstract
Carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) is a neuropathy caused by median nerve entrapment and compression within the carpal tunnel at the wrist. It is the most common mononeuropathy seen in clinical practice, causing pain, paresthesia, and weakness in the median nerve distribution.
