Abstract

The CO₂ laser was used to treat 300 patients with cervical intra-epithelial neoplasia (CIN). The patient characteristics, histological features, complications and follow-up are described and our experience is discussed. The CO₂ laser appears to be safe and efficient for outpatient treatment of CIN, with a cure rate of 94%.
