Abstract

All bone matrix damage observed in creep-damaged bones was either diffuse damage (Diff.Dx) comprised of patches of sublamellar- sized cracks) or linear-appearing microcracks. Accordingly, measurements of diffuse damage area and linear microcracks number density were performed as described elsewhere [1].
