Abstract
To document the met and unmet needs of persons living with HIV and AIDS (PLWHA) for nutritional assistance, we conducted a multisite, descriptive study. From November 1997 through April 1999 we surveyed three different groups of patients and a group of nutritionists and dietitians who work with HIV-infected patients. This article reports on patients' met and unmet needs for nutritional assistance.
