NARRATIVE
Obesity-related hypertension, a disorder accounting for ~75% of hypertension, is however hard to control due
to its specific yet much unclear mechanisms in the responsible brain region including the comprised neural
cells and blood-brain barrier. This project is to study the molecular programs in this specific brain region and
the involved neural cell types, aiming to deeply understand the brain as well as neural-vascular mechanism of
this disease and potentially provide a new interventional basis.
