Abstract
Vascular injuries are among the most common major complications associated with laparoscopic urology. They can be the most devastating complications leading to blood loss, conversion to open surgery, multiple organ failure, shock, or death. These injuries may occur during any part of the procedure, while gaining laparoscopic access, during tissue dissection or isolating and ligating vascular structures.
