Abstract
A case of osteoarthritis of the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) is described, and the improtance of accurate diagnosis of patients who present with TMJ pain is stressed. A high condylotomy was performed to eliminate a large bone spur which had severely restricted the patient's range of mandibular motion.
