N2 - • Lactobezoar should be considered in a neonate with respiratory distress and abdominal distention. • Lactobezoar has been described in premature infants on certain formulas, but they can also occur in full-term infants on human milk. • If lactobezoar is suspected, rapid diagnosis and treatment is essential to prevent serious complications, such as necrotizing enterocolitis or bowel perforation.
