Sudden Sequential Deafness As the Presenting Symptom of Macroglobulinemia

Abstract

Sequential deafness, developing first in one ear and then in the second ear ten months later, was found to be associated with a patient's macroglobulinemia. The case reported represents another etiology of sudden deafness, which should be considered in the differential diagnosis of unexpected hearing loss.
