Abstract
Spinal cord stimulation (SCS) and dorsal root ganglion (DRG) stimulation are two forms of neuromodulation with proven long-term success in the treatment of chronic neuropathic pain. Advancement in novel waveforms and targets have occurred in the last few years with improvement in outcomes compared with traditional tonic stimulation. Patient selection is key to long-term success for this therapy. In this chapter, we will discuss the growing indications for both SCS and DRG stimulation in the treatment of chronic pain.
