To the Editor: You took a position (understandably) against the publication of the results of the Nazi experiments, stating that these studies “are such a gross violation of human standards that they are not to be trusted at all.1 What is less understandable, however, is that in order to justify this position, the Journal found it necessary to publish the very data it was supposed to ban.
