Abstract
The lumbar facet joint can be a cause for axial low back pain. After conservative treatment options, facet pain can be successfully treated with radiofrequency ablation of the medial branch nerves. Lumbar medial branch nerve blockade and radiofrequency ablation techniques will be reviewed.
