N2 - Gastrointestinal manifestations of AIDS are common. Opportunistic infections and tumors may affect any portion of the GI tract from oral cavity to anus. Esophageal involvement may result from Candida, CMV, HSV, HIV, and tumors. Biliary tract and pancreatic disease may cause abdominal pain. Diarrhea occurs in over 50% of AIDS patients and is multifactorial.
