Abstract

Pediatric migraine differs from adult migraine in its epidemiology and symptom profile. Recent studies demonstrate the need to revise diagnostic criteria for pediatric migraine, demonstrate its epidemiology and suggest that its prevalence is increasing. These studies support the need for clinical trials to assess the utility of emerging therapies for pediatric migraine.
