Abstract

The prenatal diagnosis of an abdominal cystic mass by ultrasonographic examination was made and a postnatal diagnosis of a urachal bladder diverticulum suggested by a voiding cystourethrogram was confirmed at surgery, at which time the base of the diverticulum was excised and the bladder was repaired in layers.
